All of our blades are 4” deep to give you more usable material.
Our standard blades come in .095” in thickness. These blades are great for your typical removal scenarios. For example VCT, sheet vinyl, or direct glue down carpet.
For tough flooring removal like: broadloom carpet, double layer VCT or even VCT in heavy traffic areas, ceramic tile or thin-set, do better when you use our thicker .125” thick steel blades.
The 2 & 4” carbide blades are designed for the extremely tough removal. What we consider “hard goods”. The addition of the carbide on the front helps maintain a sharp edge and is great for Ceramic, Terrazzo, Marble, hardwood and even some Epoxy
